Hotel is located 5km away from the Expo 2020 site and 24km from Dubai International Airport
Hospitality Management Holding (HMH) has broken ground on a new hotel that falls under the ‘Ecos Hotel’ brand. The 321-room Ecos Dubai Al Furjan is the first for the brand and is being developed near the Expo 2020 site in Dubai.
The property is being developed to accommodate leisure, family, and business travelers. According to a statement, the hotel will boast a smart and innovative design and features state-of-the art infrastructure and will offer guests a unique and memorable experience, enriched with an element of surprise for all its guests.
The ground-breaking ceremony was held in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal bin Sultan Al Qassimi, chairman of Manafa and MD of Faisal Holding (which owns HMH and Manafa), and other senior officials including Faisal Holding CEO Brett Schafer and HMH chief executive Aboudi Asali.
“Announcing the launch of our lifestyle brand gives us immense pleasure to offer an innovative and experience lead hotel category designed for millennial-minded guests seeking a unique stay that is equally affordable. Ecos Hotels will be the benchmark for the hospitality sector across the region. This will rapidly materialise through the brand’s first property, Ecos Dubai Al Furjan Hotel, that is scheduled to open its doors just in time to welcome guests from all over the world visiting us for the Expo 2020,” said Sheikh Mohammed.

The Ecos Dubai Al Furjan Hotel is expected to open in the third quarter of 2020.
